Aerospace-standard vapour recovery testing

As Master Licensee in Europe, E&S provides a highly accurate vapour recovery testing service using the world-renowned MassTech diagnostic test and data analysis programme. Developed originally for the aerospace industry, this unique programme provides a safe, reliable and cost-effective solution.

The testing system, including Stage II, is in use on all continents by all leading petroleum companies, and acknowledged as equivalent to the Californian Air Resources Board (CARB) TP 201, the one recognised world authority on emissions control. The system not only exceeds their exacting standards – but does not involve TP 201’s mandatory suspension of sales

Database

Clients’ site details can be entered into our secure and confidential national database so that we can take complete management responsibility for ensuring all vapour recovery tests are conducted to their schedule, with E&S being the communication hub between site managers and clients.

Expert analysis, certification and problem solving

E&S engineers are highly trained and experienced, and the testing system used is incorruptible, automatically recording every key stroke and entry by time providing a valuable audit trail. The remote processing of data under strict technical control ensures utter integrity of results, and in addition to statutory certification, results will be produced in annotated graphical form so that retail engineers, for example, can see how their systems are performing in a dynamic and meaningful way.

All raw data is available as well as statistical information on individual sites or on families of sites; and in the event that a system has not passed test criteria, E&S can either fix the problem to guarantee your compliance, or provide appropriate recommendations.

Service throughout Europe

E&S conducts all MassTech tank, line and vapour recovery testing within the European Union, either directly, or through carefully selected local companies acting as sub-licensees. These companies provide the same high standards, competence and professionalism as does E&S in the UK, and have been given intensive training in our procedures, protocols and methods. They remain under our technical direction and control while MassTech is the arbiter of all test data gathered, and as is the case in the UK, E&S issues all formal test certificates.
