This latest camera technology comprises up to 200 feet of flexible rod at the end of which is a video colour camera with built in lighting providing high-resolution images. It is designed for inspecting areas that are not normally accessible for human inspection, such as pipelines and some tanks.
The camera is pushed down the pipe while the operator watches the picture on the built-in monitor. The pictures are clear and bright and highlight any areas of corrosion or decay to provide a valuable record of the pipes condition, and to pinpoint precise areas of repair. |
