We conduct a full inspection and test covered by the current Carriage of Dangerous Goods & Transportable Pressure Equipment regulations (CDG) against our approved Written Scheme of Examination. We undertake testing of both ‘old’ (DR6) and ‘new’/ADR (DR5) tanks, including hydraulic testing at specialised locations
Our road tanker inspection and testing division is run as a stand-alone business by a dedicated Operations Manager, supported by highly trained and experienced Inspectors covering the whole of the UK

We have developed a unique method of testing ERPV’s in situ i.e. without the need for their removal for bench testing, saving on time and convenience. We also test PV valves for conformity and only change them if necessary, again saving on cost.
We test vapour tightness (leakproofness) using inert gas applied at the appropriate pressure for the tank design linked to data logger, ensuring integrity of the data, which is retained for audit purposes
We can also access the top of tankers safely with equipment we carry on our vehicles – all approved by regulatory authorities
Your fleet details can be entered into our secure and confidential national data base so that we take complete management responsibility for ensuring all road tanker tests are conducted to their schedule (including any re-tests), and E&S becomes the communication hub between maintenance workshops and customers.
A signed test result form is left with clients on completion of a test,
followed up with our formal authorised test certificate.
